HI!
I received a spammy message from another shop and did not reply to the message and now it is lowering my score on Star Seller. How can I correct this?
Thanks!
Howdy!

Mark it as spam.
If it was spam then mark as such.
What everyone else said. Each and every message must be responded to.
This is the 7 zillionth thread about this. It happens to everyone..................once.
At least it should only happen once. Learn from this and move on..............................
And read/search the forums when you have an issue.
If you receive a spam message, mark it as spam.
If you receive a thank you from a seller you've purchased from, say "you're welcome."
I'm really unsure as to why this has been problem and continues to be such a problem for so many sellers.
I can only guess that some sellers think marking a message as spam actually informs Etsy, or harms the sender in some way. Otherwise, I'm not sure why messages that are being described here as spam are not being marked as spam.
@CraftyMom75 post crafter - you can always do a search in the Forums and find your answer.
