Why is this happening? Is this something new? New test?
it is something to detect nudity/porn and it is affecting all the listings with nude dolls... a lot of my listings are unavailable now and imposible to sell... the dolls are a piece of art and must be nude to see the painting work on them... I hope etsy fixes that soon because I am losing money!!!!
Maybe say undressed instead of nude?
It seems that those dolls whose hair is loose at the front and covering some of the torso are being seen but those where is it bare are not.
None of the items I have wanted to purchase come nowhere close to having nudity. They are fully clothed. It's horrendous. I BOT gone amuck.
The bots are either picking up the words nude and naked in your titles, descriptions and tags and/or is picking up on nude imagery. It then prevents people see them.
It's just based on images, my listings that won't show, will show if I make the size chart the first photo, changing every word, product category type, switching to other photos of the product, all unavailable but an image without a body in it would let it show even with the same photos still in the listing and all words still there.
Nope not the case I have no nudes in my Movie Date listing and it receives the same message when anyone tries to click on it. I do have another Tropical Vacation B&K are in swimsuits and my third affected listing is Barbie in lingerie. There are a few threads about this and several sellers have zero nudity. I deleted one of the images and try to add again. It did worked for a little while and now the same message appears. I sure hope Etsy will resolve this soon. It looks like it has been going on for sometime now. I didn't even realize it until a customer contacted me. I also have a Pattern website through Etsy and the listings are fine there. This has to be a huge mess. They need to turn this BOT off and try again. They need to test these first before using us hard working sellers as a testing ground. They do not seem to be very sympathetic about these types of issues. You contact chat support and they escalate and you wait and wait. I was told it my issue would receive top priority. Ha ha ha . Such terrible support.
Most of my miniature cloth mannequin dolls are flagged as "unavailable for this region".
I am not using any words like nude or naked anywhere in my listing, so the bot is grabbing the photos only.
A lot of things are being given this. Things that no way have anything to do with what is being touted the reason.
Etsy has said it is a buyer's problem according to a seller that asked.
I highly doubt this. It is a programming issue that has gone amuck. Programmers need to take more care with what they are doing.
And since this is the weekend Etsy is not responding.
I was going to buy a couple of items but since I can't, I feel for the seller. I may try again later.
You can contact the seller and have them set up a special listing? I also added a note at the top of my shop.
"ATTENTION: Etsy is having technical difficulties. Some listings are showing an error message: Sorry, this item is unavailable in your region. This issue is affecting many sellers. Please contact me if you have trouble placing an order. I can set up a special listing."
