Hi everyone,
3/4 hours ago I had the message "Your shop will stay in Holiday mode while we review your info" and my shop is now in holiday mode.
Shortly after the same thing happened to my other/second Etsy shop.
Now I've noticed a banner in both of my Etsy shops saying "Your badges were removed because your account was limited by Etsy." (both are/were Star Seller shops). I wonder did anyone who had their shop forced into holiday mode experience a similar message with regard to their Star Seller badges?

Were you selling identical items in both shops?
It is possible they are just checking your ID and financial details.
Thanks for your reply. Each shop sells different items, one shop sells physical prints and the other sells digital downloads. Both shops acknowledge each other in the "About" section. Yes, hopefully they're just reviewing my info which is what's happened to other people.
If they are physical and digital downloads of the same picture, that could be why. Etsy may consider this selling identical items.

I just read that and it says "placing your shop on pause" is a reason, so possibly that's why they've been removed?
I had this happen the other day too. I haven't been told what the reason was for me... I'm a digital seller, so there are never any issues with too many orders. Fortunately it only took about 8 hours and eventually my badges were restored. I've never had any correspondence from Etsy about it.
