Someone tried to send me a message and it would not go through.

It was just a former neighbor trying to reach me about a non Etsy related thing.  She didn't have my phone number. They drove to my house and told me that Etsy message system did not work two days ago.  If others are experiencing this sellers may not even know so I'm reporting it here.

maybe it was their internet.. I have been getting messages daily from people and sending them.

Did they get an error message? Are they also a seller?

Sometimes the message system is suspended if Etsy suspects a user is using it to send spam. So if your friend was sending out a lot of similar messages to other users, for whatever reason, then that may have triggered the spam block.

No nothing like that.  Could I request that one of you send me a message so I know they get through or not?  What also looks strange to me is that I have enough activity as far as views and visits, things being carted that I should have sales.  Yet it has been over a week.

Maybe if she used the words phone number or Email they thought she was a scammer
