Hello, my name is June and I have been using Etsy for six months now. I have some questions about how to deal with certain issues and I am hoping someone can assist me when they are available. To make it easier to understand, I have listed the problems one by one below:
I would be very grateful if someone could advise me on how to deal with them. Thank you!
2. Etsy doesn't have operating hours. It's online 24/7.
4. You can set your timezone to show you some stats in your timezone. It doesn't change when your store is accessible, which is 24/7.
5. Buyers need to be opted in to etsy marketing emails to receive them.
Stats are rubbish - or at least, I have no idea how to interpret them in a meaningful way. They also lag by 4-6 hours.
Etsy shops are 24/7 but if you only ship within the US your views may be limited over the night time when most people in your region are asleep.
New shops get a temporary boost for a few weeks - perhaps that correlates with your previous increased views rather than your assumption that it was related to not having Etsy Plus.
Etsy Plus is not worth it, IMO.
Your view rate might be low due to competition, lack of long tail keywords, images do not focus on the product (too much background). That being said your sales are pretty good considering your are a new shop. Many shops can take 6 months just to make their first sale.
I'm not sure when Etsy sends abandoned cart offers as I don't use them. Lately they have been testing sending them via Etsy message rather than email. Maybe you have the setting to allow offer emails turned off in your other profile?
You might have more luck checking the discount emails if you use an incognito browser setting as it might not work because etsy knows it's you?
I have experienced many ups and downs with views, I think it's how their algorithm works, seems to be all or nothing sometimes! Just keep doing things every day, but don't overdo it, it does take time to build steady sales and certainly if you can get some traffic from any social media source the do as much of that as you can, it can only help your sales! Best of luck!

Thank you so much for replying to me. But I did not find the time zone button on my page, though I tried multiple times. May I know where it is?
I checked the other account on the emails page of my profile. It showed I do have the check mark on the " coupons and promotions" of " your subscriptions ", and it was written "stay in the know about the finds you love....etc."

Thank you very much for your helpful advice and suggestions, Amaradorn.
I sell both physical and digital items, and at the moment, my settings are limited to the US, I think. However, I had a customer from France who purchased 3 of my digital prints after I had already sold my physical items in the US. It is challenging to figure out the time zone settings on Etsy.
I reviewed my profile's email page and found that my other account has the check mark for "coupons and promotions" under "your subscriptions." The description reads, "Stay in the know about the finds you love...etc." There may be a problem with the system. I am waiting for the reply from Etsy.
I think I would skip Etsy Plus next month. The best benefit of Etsy Plus is 15 credits ($3) for listing, $5 credits for advertising per month, a personalized web address, and a discount for packing. But I don't need the packaging and web address for now, and the ads seem useless.
Thank you, I will switch to Etsy messages.

Thank you so much for your encouragement. I almost gave up when I saw the stats......
Due to my complaints, I think, I cannot see any traffic from all of my social media on my stats now. However, I prompt them every day. Anyway, I will ask my friends to click on my items from their social media to check.
The stats changed whenever I made a complaint or message to Etsy. I copied the same questions to Reddit, and then, a few minutes later, my Reddit account had been logging out, and I could not log in, even if I had changed my password multiple times. My account on Reddit has been suspended after I checked.
Weird, right?
Anyway, I will update the latest news if there is something wrong again.
