I am having issues with Snippets. Every time I change the note to buyer in the shipping label window to new text and save it, as soon as I switch to a different label or even when trying to create a brand new label (back out and start over) for a different order, it will revert back to the original Snippet, even if I DELETED it. I CANNOT get this to stop. We used to have a place where you could set your default Snippet, now I cannot find that anywhere either. Anyone know how to fix this??
I don't use Snippets for anything (including Messages). Except I do know what you mean re: the Note to Buyer when you enter the Tracking No. and state the item/s is shipped. I have to change mine every time (but I don't mind personally. I know that you do though). For example, I may say, "Tracking for Friendly Ghost & Pumpkin.". Then on the next one, "Tracking for Bat, Vamp. and Witch". (I can't recall if I add "Priority Mailing" in the Note).
*(I'm going to look around in Help to see if their is a way for you to set a Default Snipped on the Shipping Note to Buyer. I'll be back).
ETA: I typed "snippet for shipping note to buyer" into the Help Search Bar (have to remember to filter to "For Selling". Mine defaults to "For Purchasing". Anyway I could not find anything about this, sorry. Hope someone jumps in.
Snippets went weird and IMHO they still are. They've worked so much better before especially in the "complete sale" section.
Two suggestions - unless you want to keep the snippet, don't save it, just "complete the order". After deleting a snippet, try a <CTRL><F5> to force a refresh of the webpage. This was worked for us in the past.
