I had to reset my password to get on to my shop and it took 3 days for Etsy support to finally resolve the issue. They claimed that they were sending a reset link to my email but I never received one. My email provider checked and no reset email had been received or blocked by them. I finally had to create a new email address and ask that my shop be linked to the new email. Each correspondence by email took hours but after three days they finally changed my shop email and sent a reset link to my new email. When I log back on after such a long delay of not being able to access messaging, I find that my response score had dropped. This should not have happened if Etsy support had helped me get back on my shop in a timely manner. Further, Etsy support now says they are not able to reset my message response score even though the long delay was due to their taking so long to eventually help resolve the problem. I have been a Star Seller for quite some time, but now this could adversely affect my Star Seller status.
