Shop primary listing photo changes by itself in another device

Hi all,

I am wondering if anyone ever experience this. We all pick the best photo of our product/s to be place as the main (primary) listing photo. 

I did just that, thought that it's all fine. I've viewed my shop appearance using my mobile phones (I have 2 phones) and my desktop, quite often. Just to see what the potential customers (public) view looks like, when they browsing. 

However this morning for a very first time, I borrowed my husband mobile to check. He has never open ETSY site before on his mobile.

To my surprise some of my listings- the primary photo has been replaced with another page photo. Example you have a measurement chart on the second or third page (for a reason), now that page has become your primary listing photo. I panicked and checked back the shop manager using my desktop, again its all fine no issue. Everything looks ok. I am wondering why this only happen on my husband's mobile?. Then it might also be the case with other potential buyers.

Has anyone try to look at their shop public view, using other devices (preferably the ones that never been use to click on your listing or visited your shop)?. 

So many issues with Etsy, after dealing with messages from scammers almost daily and now this as well :(....

I haven't seen this so I would assume it's a test. Not much we can do about it other than pray they don't make it permanent.

I haven't seen my primary photo changed when browsing however, I've noticed this past week that when my mouse settles on a photo or pauses on one, a rotation of all photos are displayed 1-10. In a quick glance anyone searching sees all of your photos displayed on the primary "listing" photo without clicking on the listing and then clicking on arrows to see all photos for the listing. Seems like that it going to reduce the number of views/visits in the stats.

Thanks! Had just found it and finished reading it. Seems like I'm not the only one seeing it and also found out they are seeing things that I haven't yet, like thumbnail being changed/altered without sellers' knowledge. This site is too stressful. I've quit listing new items. There are alternatives to explore.

I just noticed this as well and it doesn't work with my store. What the hec is Etsy thinking? Did they communicate this to anyone? Is there a way to opt out, or did they just do this without telling anyone? I love(ed) Etsy, but their communication is a HUGE PROBLEM. Not just about this, but also with their customer service. At least with Amazon and Ebay, you can call and talk to someone. Etsy just doesn't want to spend the money on customer service for some reason. A few years ago, at a quarterly meeting they said they were going to hike fees and spend it on customer service for sellers, but that sure didn't happen.
