Shop notification red number

I had the red number 2 showing at my shop icon yesterday but no new happenings in my shop, no new messages no orders, nothing. Then this morning the number has changed to 3 and again nothing new happening. I've tried clearing browser cache and signed in again but the red number 3 is still there. Is there a bug going on?

Set your language to American English and then the translator works.

I wonder if the ghost notification red number will ever go away, it worries me that I might be missing any hidden messages/orders.

Any open cases maybe. Or do you mean the red number at the etsy chat symbol?

The red number is on the shop icon, usually a number shows up there when a message or order comes in.

Oh ok. You will find it at your help funktion. Where you find our forum too. Look there at “help“  maybe the red dot is there. Sry because of my english

Ich schreibe kurz auf deutsch. Du hast bestimmt offene Fälle. Schau unter hilfe nach. Der weg den du nutzt um in das forum zu kommen. Da findest du auch die offenen Fälle.  Müssten über dem verkäuferhandbuch zu finden sein

Ein kunde von dir wird vielleicht einen etsy fall eröffnet haben. Das heißt in der Regel es gab ernsthafte Schwierigkeiten bei der Bestellung so das sich etsy selbst eingeschaltet hat. Diese findest du dann wie gesagt unter “ hilfe“  im dashboard.

Where is the red dot?  Is it under Favorites?  That is where notifications are for new updates.

Voici ce que j'ai trouvé dans l'aide. Désolée pour la grosseur du texte, j'ai juste fait un copier coller dans l'aide..

Artbesico Je pense que nous devrons faire avec ce désagrément  jusqu'à ce un esprit supérieur voit et surtout résolve le problème. Je suis obligée de vérifier plusieurs fois par jour ( j'ai peur de laisser trainer un spam ou autre truc inquiétant)

I happened to me once. You can't do anything about it. It goes by itself. Mine stayed for a few days.

@Suniq Thanks, hopefully it will go away soon. Number changed from 2 to 3 this morning so it might go up to 4 tomorrow.

Happened to me, too, yesterday. And then, suddenly, disappeared a few hours later. It was the first time I saw that. If anyone knows more, I'd like to be informed.
