Lots of my shop's thumbnail images have shifted out of position again!
Dozens of them have returned to their central default position.
Looked terrible in my shop as my cats and dogs all had cropped heads.
Anyone else noticing this.
It seems to be an old problem which goes back years. Just spent an hour fixing them.
I've had this happen in the past - all my thumbnails reverted to the uncropped state. There's also an issue with thumb crop settings not being saved when adding new listing photos. You have to publish the listing - then go back and drop the thumbnail.
Etsy developers tinker with the live site code on a daily basis so bugs like these occur often.
Love your illustrations but I think you need some rabbits perhaps (or other animals).
Sadly, this has been an ongoing issue for years.
Etsy coders have been messing with photos the past couple weeks.
It started with the about section slide shows, then some of the banners. It is unfortunate that the coders have moved onto thumbnails.
These newly off centered, weirdly cropped or giant sized images make our shops look very careless and unprofessional.
I think a lot of the issues are device specific. I am on a mobile device. Your thumbnails look fine to me. The slide shows were a mess for me, but looked normal to those people on a desktop.
Thanks.
I've been through them all this morning and fixed each one that was wrong.
When I opened my shop in 2019 this feature worked perfectly. One day they broke it and never fixed it. Mostly now I just use a centered picture that doesn't need adjusting, because even if you do center a thumbnail picture the unadjusted original is what shows up in review pictures.
I am trying to update my photos and keep getting the uh oh failed to clone image message. Cannot fix my thumbnails. Anyone know how to get around this?
