How do I get rid of phantom notications ?

Is there a way to clear phantom notications in my dashboard?

I've had the number 7 in my dashboard the last week or so and haven't a clue what it's about.

The little orange dots with a 7 in it. Could be shop updates on shops you marked as favorites. Or maybe review reminders?

oh sorry, I meant it's on my main page when I log in.
When I click on it it bring through to the dashboard and I can't see any notifications

Then I don’t know. Maybe someone else has a suggestion?

I had the dot & number for some purchases I'd made - they were the constant reminder to leave a review.

Over the past month or so I've had it appear & hovering over the number allowed drop-down notifications. Etsy was advising me that a few things I'd saved for later in my cart were on sale. Others reminded me that I had a coupon available from a shop owner I'd recently purchased from. Another one was a generalized reminder about a shop I'd purchased from ages ago, they were having a sale.

I'd go to the shop manager & there was never a "business related" message or notification from Etsy.

At least these general notices would disappear once I hovered over the number to scan the "offers". The review reminder stayed there until the window to leave a review closed.
