I was sure that mine was missing. Tried to chat with Etsy "help" and it was a waste of time. THEN I found it at the very bottom!!
That makes no sense. It is getting old having to deal with administers of sites and also social media changing things. I think it is obvious that the shop announcement should be at the top.
Mine did too (moved back to top) for only a brief few minutes ... and now it is back at the middle bottom. Is yours also back at the middle bottom or still at the top? I have viewed mine in various browsers, various incognito modes, as a buyer would normally see it, signed in/signed out, etc ... and yet every view is the exact same (middle bottom). I am so done with Etsy testing us! <sigh>
sigh.... only returned to the top for one day! now it's back under the listings! who would think that an announcement should be anywhere except at the top?
