Etsy is very unprofessional and non-communicative about their cases. I have opened my shop about a month ago and have started selling a lot more and my shop has been growing. However I soon realized that I was not getting any payments wired to my bank account. I talked with my bank and there were no issues with my bank account. So I checked the account number I have on Etsy and the account on file did not match any of the account I own or the one I had put on Etsy when I first opened the account. Since the account numbers didn't match I opened an Etsy case right away. That was 5 days ago and I have not received any replies except one on which asked me security questions to verify my identity and limited access to my shop because of suspicious logins. Etsy has very poor customer service, even though I am a new shop, my problem is a huge one because I already lost about one moths money yet I did not receive a reply for a week. Is Esty's security so easy to crack that my bank account can be changed without having access to my old one or a email/phone confirmation from me?
I hope you get this issue resolved soon. Keep emailing them.
Actually, do not keep sending additional messages. Reply to one of the messages you received back, stating you still need help. Every time you send them a new message you move down to the bottom of the list.
@RoyalRobe try this:

@RoyalRobe - To change your bank account - where you have shop's funds deposited - you need to know the current bank account number.
So when anyone (you or a hacker) goes to change that account number the old one must be entered & then the new one can be added.
Changing the credit card or debit card on file for shop is easier.
Note, changing the bank account number places a hold on your shop's funds for about 5 days or so. Then deposits are resumed on the scheduled basis.
If you have any concerns, do a good virus/malware scan on your devices, change your Etsy password, etc.
Shop owners can only hope that Etsy's statement the increase in fees will really pay for increased shop owner customer service.
