I have an issue with the shipping time calculation, Etsy is showing the wrong dates, that's crazy!
For example for the USA:
I have 1-3 days of processing
4-5 Business days - shipping time
But I see that it will be delivered between Nov 23-Dec 21
Chat with etsy support can't help....
How come???

You can't set the shipping time only the processing time. The shipping time depends on the carrier and where the item is going.
You are not right! In the settings, I can set up delivery times for each country!

Shipping profile, there you can change the shipping time for each country. I'm sure you know that
I do not have that option available.

There's nothing on the shipping profile page about setting the delivery time with calculated shipping or fixed shipping.
You can only set a processing time.

How much time do you need to prepare an order and put it in the mail? Keep in mind, shoppers have shown they're more likely to buy items that ship quickly.
Under "Fixed" shipping it has options to select like Priority, Ground Advantage but that "delivery time" next to each mail class is an estimate of delivery times for that mail class, it isn't used to set "your" delivery times.
Delivery times are based on the mail class you select and when you mail an item.
The clock starts ticking on the est. delivery time when you mail the item.
Example you have a 5 day processing time to mail the item but you mail it on the 2nd day. The estimated delivery time not based on the 5 days but on the day you mailed it.

The transit times shown here are the carriers’ general estimate.

That screen shot is showing the "processing time", not the estimated shipping time.
2 different things.
Your processing time is how long it takes you to mail the order.
It's NOT how long it takes the buyer to receive it.
That estimated delivery time you see is also based on the buyer's location.
It states this on that screen shot what this processing time is (I also posted it above).

Etsy removed "Other" a while back.
There's no "other" on my shipping profile.
Seems you have an old profile that is still showing "other".
There's no other, now only a list of mail classes to select from.

Shipping with "other" is no longer an option. Evidently you have not updated your shipping profile.

You shouldn't have it, because "other" went poof 1-2 years ago based on those threads I posted.
I have "other" option available as well in shipping profiles.
It seems only for the US sellers, but I'm not.
It's not only for US sellers, some of the sellers on those threads I posted were from the UK and they don't have "other" either.
I'm in Canada and have that option. The delivery times are also not adding up for me correctly. I noticed this about a week ago.

So you’re complaining that Etsy has pushed out international delivery time to accommodate the heaviest mail traffic time of the year, rather than be beholden to delivering internationally in 5 days over Black Friday and Christmas and therefore punished and open to endless rounds of refunds when your item doesn’t arrive within the “promised” time.
Geez, you really can’t please some people…
If you're having issues with your shipping operator, that's unfortunate! I don’t have any problems—everything on my side works perfectly, including delivery times.

It is technical. Etsy have engineered it so. They are actually allowing extra time for deliveries over the festive season.
I have no problems with my delivery service, but with many years of winter deliveries under my belt I have the understanding of what actually happens during that time. I see you’re very new to online selling.
Since you are in Ukraine, I would put something in the description that addresses the long estimated shipping time. Stress that it is Etsy's estimation.
I see one of your reviews has mentioned it took a while longer but did not blame you.
Yep, so time ago the shipping was longer, when the war started. Now it was stabilized
@MaynardMillinery I’m not new to this. I’ve been doing it for 5 years and know how everything works. However, this week, Etsy has been experiencing bugs with delivery times.
Why do I even have the option to set up delivery times if I can’t use it? In all the previous years, I’ve never faced issues like this.
