I'm located in the USA. I'm trying to update my shipping profiles to match what is available to USPS customers. There is no more USPS First Class mail, it is now USPS Ground Advantage, with $100 insurance included. I can't get this option to be available for my customers.
Etsy, please update this.

Until Etsy changes the wording use First Class Package service and Parcel select. Ground Advantage is available in teh label. Etsy just has not taken the time to change the profiles. If you don't want Priority selected at all, remove it.

I've had a customer complain that I sent something Ground Advantage and not First-Class. Also the Ground option listing in Etsy doesn't indicate that insurance is included.

I don't get an option for "Parcel Select". Only the six default Etsy shipping options?

@LaurenSumnerPottery: For once, Etsy's not updating something is a good thing. The rates are correct (as Ground Advantage) and packages of over 15.99 ounces are priced as Priority Mail. 1 pound and heavier Ground Advantage packages have an estimated in transit time equal to the old Parcel Post. For example, a Chicago to Hawaii 15.9 ounce package has an estimated in transit time of 5 days, the exact same package at 16 ounces has an estimated in transit time of 15 days.

Why is it good that it isn't correct? As long as the pricing is correct, I'd prefer Etsy to fix this.
I offer Priority and Ground Advantage and I'd like both to be offered (not first class)

I am having this same issue. I would like my customers to be able to choose between USPS Ground Advantage and USPS Priority when they are buying. I feel this is costing me sales because ETSY needs to update customer shipping options!

yes I told a customer to choose that option and he sent me screenshots to prove its not there...that is lame and something that needs to be fixed asap.

This has been broken for many many months. I think the first time I reached out to Etsy, they said they were "working on it." My customers cannot select Ground Advantage at the moment!!!!

1. Go to one of your listings and hit edit. 2. Scroll down to the shipping option, hit edit. 3. Scroll down to shipping services and uncheck USPS First-Class Mail, scroll down and check USPS Parcel Select Ground. 4. Scroll down and click save to all your listings. This will remove the option for customers to choose First Class and give them the option for Ground or whatever ever other shipping services you want to provide.
I am confused as why etsy has not removed first class entirely from the shipping preferences. I agree with the original post as it looks bad to clients that are not yet aware of the removal of first class, especially if they feel thats what they are paying for and then they are getting ground instead. So this is how to correct it. To the best of my knowledge.

OH MY GOD.
I tried what felt like hundreds of ways to fix the shipping. I did your suggestion step by step, and when I unchecked USPS First Class Mail, I got an "additional options" box. When I clicked on THAT box, I was able to get the option "Parcel Select Ground."
You've saved the day!
Should I keep the First Class Mail option also?? That option shows a 35.7% discount to Buyers, and Parcel Select doesn't show any discount!!

I would most definitely not keep first class mail checked. It no longer exists and is misleading to buyers. The shipping time is different as well. I am so glad this helped.

Actually this ZOMBIE thread as old as it is, IS still relevant. HOWEVER rather than it just being a "few months" that Etsy has not updated shipping classes/terms, it is now almost a year and a half. How do we wake up RipVanEtsy?
