Shipping Rating

I was confused to see my shipping rating go down when I provided a tracking label for each order and sent it before the scheduled ship out date. I only have a small amount of orders so I went from 100% to 33%, yet the tracking was provided for each order

Are you using Etsy labels?

I haven't, I haven't been able to actually get Etsy's labels to work. I get an error everytime

Did you check to see if the items are now in transit?  IF items are not in transit Etsy's aftership sees the item as not shipped.  

Using an Etsy label transfers the tracking number but if you add the tracking number manually, make sure it is correct.

@BloomAgainBooks  what kind of error are you getting? I only use Etsy labels with no problems. I use my desktop.

I don't remember the exact verbage but it was something like "Etsy shipping is down currently, try again later" but whenever I tried I kept getting the same error. I was on my phone though, so I'll try though my computer next time

It is possible to have 100% shipping without using etsy labels

True, but it's much easier if you do.  Pirate Ship works but I find it inconvenient as it involves using a credit card whereas Etsy takes the money from your account so no extra transaction on our part is needed.

that's great if that is your preference.  my point was that it is not necessary to use etsy labels to be 100% for shipping.

OP, if you kept receipts from when you bought labels, get them and enter the tracking numbers manually on your orders. It may not show up in time for June Star Seller metrics, but it will reassure Etsy that you did ship on time.
