Need Assistance: Store Suspension and Deactivation

Hello Folks,

I hope this post finds you all well. I am reaching out today because I am in need of some assistance regarding my Etsy store. Unfortunately, my store has been suspended, and it is now deactivated. I am unable to log in to the Etsy marketplace, but I am grateful that I can still access the forum.

I am unsure about the reasons behind the suspension and subsequent deactivation of my store. I have been a dedicated and conscientious seller on Etsy, and this situation has come as a shock to me. I have always strived to provide high-quality products and excellent customer service to my buyers.

I would be immensely grateful if any of you have experienced a similar situation or have any knowledge regarding the process of store suspension and deactivation. Could you please provide guidance on how I can resolve this issue and reactivate my store? Any insights, tips, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have tried reaching out to Etsy support via email, but I have not received any response thus far. If there are any alternative channels or steps that I can take to communicate with Etsy's support team effectively, please let me know. Your guidance and support mean a lot to me during this challenging time.

Thank you in advance for your time and assistance. I am hopeful that together, as a community, we can find a resolution and I can get back to serving my valued customers on Etsy.

The shop you're posting from shows zero sales, but it has been deactivated, you're right.

Do you have another shop that you are referring to, and did that shop have sales, and has that one been deactivated as well?

Were you trying to sell the same items in both shop? Because that can be problematic.

Re: Need Assistance: Store Suspension and Deactivation

what were you selling? What did they tell you in their email (check your junk folder) or shop dashboard?

Reasons for Etsy to shut down a shop:

  1. Copyright/trademark infringement
  2. Selling stuff that’s not vintage, or stuff you didn’t make and/or design
  3. Selling stuff that’s not allowed on Etsy
  4. Too many customer service cases by customers
  5. Too many bad reviews

Do any of the above apply?

Re: Need Assistance: Store Suspension and Deactivation

A cached version of your shop shows your location as Canada, yet the keycaps would be shipped from Vietnam.

Were the ''inspired by'' cats inspired from gaming characters?  Were you actually handmaking or designing with the help of a Production Partner your items?  There is, however, no Prod Partner shown.

Your About section mentions digital designs to download.  Were you, by any chance, infringing on popular characters?  Or using someone else's artwork?

Your About section also mentions that you are ''just a young girl''.  Are you over 18 years old?

in another thread.

you said you had been open.

for only 3 days.

before the suspension.

and you do not have any sales = no customers to serve.

you also said other people were making the items.

what was your role in your shop?
