Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
Buyers see $1.08 shipping on a listing of mine, but, the listing actually shows $4.75 shipping profile. They are going to escalate this to a technician. Has anyone else had this problem?

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
@TheBrownPear You are an experienced Seller, so I'm sure you know when something is wrong. You also have a lot of listings - is there a specific one that it's happening on, so others can take a look?
I think there have been reports of shipping profile glitches the past few days.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
I see $1.08 on a lot of the swap cards listings.
Which listing should be on $4.75 but isn't?

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
I see $1.08 on the listing page. When I added it to my cart, it also says $1.08 as the shipping charge.
I would suggest deactivating the listing for now and sorting the issue out on your own. Don't expect etsy to acknowledge any fault with their system.
I noticed etsy isn't charging the correct amount, even though they told me nothing is wrong, for priority shipping. They don't care.

Hopefully they will reimburse me.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
So when you go to the listing, as if you were editing it, and scrolling down to the shipping section, it's showing it's attached to a shipping profile?
And it's the profile for 4.75 shipping, not 1.08 shipping?

Who is hopefully "they" will reimburse you?
Etsy, USPS?
On the link to the item you posted above I also see $1.08.
ETA: If a buyer paid $4.75 and it cost you $1.08 for postage then YOU have to reimburse the buyer.
Etsy won't do it, nor USPS.
If you're wanting a refund on a postage label you didn't use that you printed on Etsy, then you have to request a refund on Etsy.
But you need to do it soon, since there's a time limit on when you can asked for a refund on a postage label.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
I hope Etsy will reimburse me for the error they made. I had $4.75 shipping on the listing for several years and sold a lot of these scrap packs. They charged the customer only 1.08 instead of 4.75 for the last scrap pack sold. Etsy owes me $4.75 minus $1.08.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
I seriously doubt Etsy will refund you for this.
I'm seeing $1.08 on that item you posted a link too.
If it is supposed to have a shipping profile for $4.75 (and it's showing this on your listing page under the shipping details), maybe try deleting that profile under settings, make a NEW profile and attach it to the listing.
ETA: maybe somehow you accidentally clicked on the wrong profile and put the profile with the $1.08 shipping cost?
I know I've done this before.
What is showing if you "EDIT" the listing and you scroll down to that the shipping info?
It is showing the profile for $1.08 or the $4.75?

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
You have it backwards. The buyer didn't pay $4.75. they only paid $1.08. It's the first time this ever happened to me.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
I went back to your shop and clicked on 5 random listings. only 1 showed $4.50 for the shipping. the other 4 also say $1.08.
please do what I suggested above. Trust me, etsy isn't going to refund you. Maybe delete that profile and use one that works or create a new one.

Re: Shipping Cost Glitch on a Listing
Yes, it only happened on the $4.75 shipping profile twice, so I changed it to $4.50. Thank you for your help. Sue.
