Seller app not adding photos

I'm trying to edit some listings on the seller app and it won't allow me to add photos. Is anyone else having this issue?

Many sellers recommend using your mobile browser instead of the app until the issues with the app are resolved.

I guess I should clarify. I've been able to successfully do this for months and months. So for me, it was a NEW issue. Sorry if I missed the threads that had been posted months ago.

Seller App was working fine 2 days ago on my Android.

Now the + button is dead. On one screen it has no response, on another you hear it click when you press it but nothing pops up.

Reinstall of app, clearing cache and data, reboot phone, none of that helped.

Uploads work fine on the PC, and on the phone uploads work fine on the Ebay app , so its not the Android phone it seems.

A lot more work to send pics to PC and then use the PC to do the upload. 

Deleting or editing an existing picture works.

Hope this can be fixed soon - just go back to 2 days ago?

I've done all the things suggested and nothing helps..I guess we have to wait it out...very annoying

Exactly! And unless you have time to scroll through months and months worth of posts, you wouldn't know that it's been an ongoing issue for other sellers. A little kindness goes a long way. I ended up using my phone and googling Etsy, logged into my account, and then a little more back and forth. Luckily, it was just four listings. I can't imagine having to do this for all listings. Hang in there

Cannot add any photos to listings. Extremely frustrating.

I too cannot upload photos via the Seller's App. It has really slowed me down to have to email photos to my laptop. I don't see any messages stating they are working on it.

@ShirasGarden: Have you tried using the browser on your mobile device and logging into etsy.com instead of using the app? Reading between the lines of some of the posts about this issue it is hard to figure out if it is an app issue or a device issue, or possibly some combination of the two.

Nope, they appear to be "busy" trying to roll out their huge new announcement. If only we could work on fixing existing things lol

I know on my desktop, for over 3 hours I've been trying to add photos and I can't.  Sorely frustrated.  Wish the pics could upload and that dang pop up of "Is this list ready?" would shred and disintegrate.

• Yes, just black instead of the photo. And I experienced some color changes to a photo I tried to add to a listing last week, so I decided not to do it that way. It remains on my phone and computer looking normal on those.

I have found on my pc if I edit the pics to pixel size of no more than 2000 on height or width, I can get them uploaded.  The challenge though is the amount of time it takes to do that editing.  I took over 500 pics yesterday, so besides cropping them, I have to also then resize them.  They still take a longer time than normal to upload, but at least I'm not just sitting here, twiddling fingers.

yes, I am having that problem also.  I will allow videos to upload, but not photos.  Takes a lot of extra time to save photos to computer, then upload to listings.  Hoping they get it fixed soon.......
