I am writing to seek your kind assistance regarding a matter that has been causing me some trouble on the Etsy marketplace.
Firstly, I want to emphasize my full support for Etsy's commitment to maintaining the security and integrity of the platform, especially through the verification processes.
However, I am currently encountering difficulties in verifying my bank account, leading to the suspension of my shop.
As per the latest email I received from the Trust & Safety Team, the primary issue appears to be related to the requirement of a 4-digit transit number.
Unfortunately, the "Update bank details" pop-up screen does not accept 4-digit numbers; it only allows 5-digit numbers.
Despite my efforts to submit the necessary information, the validation message "Transit number does not match expected format" continues to appear.
Seeking a resolution, I contacted a bank representative who advised me to add an additional zero at the end of the transit number to bypass the validation. Regrettably, this workaround proved ineffective, as I continue to receive email notifications from the Trust & Safety Team stating that the validation has failed.
I believe this may be an existing defect that needs to be addressed urgently.
I would be grateful if you could look into this matter promptly. I also wonder if any other sellers have encountered similar problems with verifying their bank account details.
