Seeking Assistance for Product Deactivation Related to Creativity Standards Violation

Dear Etsy Community and Community Team,

Two weeks ago, I posted on the Etsy Community regarding an issue I encountered with my most popular and best-selling product. Despite receiving multiple 5-star reviews, my listing was removed due to a violation of Etsy’s Creativity Standards. Here’s the link to my previous post;

https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Etsy-Removed-My-Listing-Due-To-Creativity-Standards-V...

The artwork in question is entirely my own design, and I have gone to great lengths to provide detailed evidence proving my ownership. This includes multiple emails sent to Etsy’s support team, where I attached photos clearly demonstrating that the product is my creation. Unfortunately, I’ve only received automated responses,just telling the policies about subject. The post on the community platform mentioned that the issue would be forwarded to a specialist team, but it has been two weeks, and I still haven’t received any updates, while my listing remains deactivated.

I had previously filed a DMCA takedown notice (#514298) for another store that was stealing my images and selling counterfeit versions of my product. However, despite DMCA acknowledging my rightful ownership, my listing was removed by Etsy’s AI system. Now, I have received a new email stating that my Star Seller Badge will be removed due to another violation of Creativity Standards on a different colored variation of the same arwork.

As a designer, I have all the necessary evidence to prove that this product is my original creation. It has received lots of 5-star reviews over the past year and this year. It is extremely disheartening that other sellers are copying my photos and product descriptions and attempting to profit from my hard work, yet I am the one facing consequences without support from Etsy.

I have never violated Etsy’s policies, and I’m committed to doing my best to share my own designs with customers through my store, which has around 140 5-star reviews. I am a Star Seller, and this store is my only source of income. Given that I have the DMCA takedown notice, all the necessary evidence, and a strong track record, I am extremely concerned about the potential suspension of my shop.

I am reaching out to seek your support in reactivating my listing and preventing the removal of my Star Seller Badge. I would greatly appreciate any guidance on what further actions I can take to resolve this matter.

Thank you in advance for your time and understanding.

All my best,

-Kaan

The number of 5 star reviews you've had on the product has nothing to do with it's eligibility to be sold on Etsy. They will not take that into account while evaluating your item.

Have you searched outside of Etsy? Your images may have been stolen and may be on other websites like Temu and Aliexpress.

Before you appeal with Etsy, make sure those images are elsewhere.

Thank you for yoru reply!

Of course, 5* Reviews will not be a criterion, but there is also a shop on Etsy that steals my photos. I wanted to tell,  the collectors' reviews that I listed this product long before the shop that continues to trying using my picture on Etsy with my photos and that it is not a fabricated or stolen product. (The shop that stole my images claims to sell baby sensory cards, but my design is an acrylic table lamp, this shop has a motorcycle helmet in the shape of a devil's head, so I think they are selling fakes)

When I searched more detailed last night, I realized that a Chinese store had put my photos on Amazon. As the creator of these designs, I hadn’t even considered opening a store on Amazon to sell my own products, as I believed Etsy was the better platform to design my work. (I have also reported this situation to DMCA)
