Search Result Error

I put in a search for vintage Halloween fabric and the result was all about Indian inspired products for the main listings. Below were suggestions for what I typed in. Same results when I just typed Halloween fabric.

I just did a search for "vintage halloween fabric" and got tons of results most of which show exactly what I put in search.

I have not had any problems before today.  Very strange...and that you had no problem at all.  Hmmm.....

Have you recently searched for Indian inspired products for a different reason? Etsy's 'wonderful' AI likes to show us things THEY THINK we want to see rather than what we typed in the search box. It's all part of their vision for a 'shopping experience'. That's probably what happened here - it's thrown in the Indian stuff because you possibly searched for it last week. Helpful, right?

Actually, I have not searched for Indian items.  Not sure what happened here. I tried 3 times.

I got 10 Turkish/Moroccan rugs on the first page, but that was just the ads. 
Is that what you're seeing?

Etsy ads have never been relevant to the search terms. That's why they don't work for most sellers.

That could be it. Well, there was a mixture of products that were presented as the main event. Below about 3 lines of products that wasn’t searching for were 5 smaller circles with examples of what I had originally searched for. 
It’s a strange way to present a search.

You are right about the search terms. Too bad this can’t be fixed.
