Scam??

Has anyone else recieved a message in the ETSY app saying this????  It says it’s from tech support. But I don’t believe it…. TIA Mel

It is a scam, put it in your spam folder and do not interact with these people or provide them any information

Yes it's a scam.

Etsy rarely sends messages using the message system. When they do it will appear in the 'from Etsy' folder (check using a browser), with a highlighted tag which also says 'from Etsy'. Scammers might copy the logo (avatar) so don't rely on that as being proof of a genuine Etsy message.

@nailedbymelaustralia: "... a message in the ETSY app ..." Real messages from Etsy are now going into their own section (labeled as "From Etsy") on your Messages page https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/New-From-Etsy-section-in-Messages/m-p/143722497#M1899 but apparently this is only true when using a browser.

Just in case, you should make sure to mark the message as SPAM (at last report you cannot do that using the seller app only a browser, even your mobile browser, or the buyer app).
