Varied sales record!! Etsy says "you've made 240 sales" another place says "congratulations, you've made 200 sales!" and on my own dashboard it says "155 sales". WHO is keeping track?
It's always been off - what's a little scarier is I've never been able to reconcile all of the sales reports at the end of the year to add together. So I turn in MY records to our accountant because I know they're right.
And two other things to consider: are they all looking at the same time period and are they counting the number of orders or the number of items sold. The "sales" on your store home page is the number of items you sold. 3 of the same item sold on one order counts as 3 sales in some places and as 1 sale in other.
I assume the "congratulations, you've made 200 sales!" is on your dashboard. It's probably been there since you made your 200th sale. It'll change when you hit another milestone. My dashboard says "congratulations, you've made 3500 sales!" when I actually have 3,607 sales. I assume the next milestone is 4,000.
