STAR SELLER orders with tracking not showing up

I have an order that is not showing up from 10/20 (8 days ago) and an 2 orders that were combined - one is not showing up and the other says no tracking - I combined them and listed the tracking numbers on both - all of these orders were sent using Etsy labels - I'm at 93% right now and very close to star seller - what can I do?

Yes - and I understand it takes a day or two to catch up - but I've missed out on star seller before because it hasn't updated and it's the end of the month again

if they are etsy labels, you only list the tracking on the one you didn't buy a label on etsy for, the other one should have auto-populated

you need to put the tracking number in, when you mark it as complete

I believe if you purchase an Etsy label for an individual order, it counts the tracking. But that tracking number on its own may not otherwise count as valid tracking per the star seller requirements. Perhaps the order synced to the tracking automatically gets approval while adding the number to another may only show pre transit or was not yet scanned through a shipping carrier or any other issue that might not count as valid tracking because you didn't buy an Etsy label for that order but only added tracking to the order.

Nope - all had gone through scanner - one had even been delivered! I also added the tracking number to the combined order (as per Etsy) but it hadn't shown up - someone from Etsy must have looked at it because all are accounted for now - thank you Etsy!

Hi, I know exactly how you feel.  Etsy has a software setting that does this within 5 days before the end of Each Month. Example:  I had a sale near the end of June this year and it was actually showing up AS DELIVERED, however, etsy did NOT count it toward my receiving Star Seller Status until July first week sometime, therefore I missed getting the proper rating for July.  Everything else was showing one thing, yet when I took screen shots of each day prior to when star seller status would show up, a completely different page showed up about 1 -2 days right close to the end of the month. 

I guess what I am telling you, is that is just how Etsy Does It.  I did end up on star seller status for two months thereafter, and yet now I am 'disappeared' off the face of their map.  I pay for Etsy ads, but it appears they are being targeted incorrectly.  I just accept it as it is, because down the line, I see that things change all of the time on Etsy and it does no good to get upset when you can choose to enjoy the journey, rather than each day's results.  Many blessings to you and I will watch your selling and have some friends favorite you to help.

@SNAZZBIRD: Not discounting that there are all sorts of glitches with the Star Seller system especially with tracking, if one reads between the lines it appears that orders are assigned to the month that they are scheduled to ship by NOT the month they were shipped just like it seems that messages are assigned to the month that the reply must be made by.

"I pay for Etsy ads, but it appears they are being targeted incorrectly." I don't know if you are aware of this, but you do have some control over which keywords your ads are found for. If you do to Marketing > Etsy Ads > Manage Advertised Listings and if you click on Search Terms under the listing you can at least turn off keywords you think are irrelevant.

We've double-checked the orders that are affecting your Star Seller previously, and it seems that both of them didn't have a tracking number added. As a seller from the US, all physical orders must include a valid tracking number or a shipping label purchased on Etsy to be counted positively towards your on-time shipping & tracking.
