Technical issue, orders pre-transit while delivered

My other open subject named: completely shocked

Has been taken out of the technical issue page. While it is a technical issue, the reason why Etsy Bot took automatically a full refund from my account.

All my items, marked with tracking, are still pre-transit even while they are long delivered. (this issue is going on since several months, while before it was not an issue and i havent changed anything to the shipping carrier)

I have mentioned this bug numerous times to Etsy. It was supposedly solved.

So now, a case is a opened and closed within 2 minutes, handing out a full refund for "non-delivery" while item was delivered according to the tracking.

 

Please allow this to stay in techical issue, since it is a technical issue when an order is still marked as pre-transit by Etsy automatic system.

 

If you dont recognize a tracking anymore. Which you did before. Am I suppose to be punsihed for it with working for Free and even giving out free goods?

We've double-checked the tracking number on the order that you're referring to. However, it appears that it can't also be tracked on the carrier's website. It is possible that the number entered may not be the tracking number, or a slight error may have been made in entering the number. Please check the carrier and the tracking number match. If the carrier and tracking numbers do not match, this will count as an invalid tracking number.

 

In the event that you've input incorrect information, you have 3 days to edit them. You can also check our help center article explaining how to add or edit a tracking number.

Thank you so much for pointing towards that thread, very helpfull! Also pointed this out to Etsy numerous times, but it is still there.

Hopefully one the Etsy people will see this post and take a look at your account. They have been successful in getting the shipping status corrected in many cases and then Star Seller will correct itself but I would not hold my breath that this will all happen in time for the November star.

Etsy uses Aftership.  If Aftership has problems recognizing your courier then it will continue to say pre-transit. 

You will need to contact Etsy again to see if they have further information on this.  You may need to find a new courier that Aftership recognizes.  

As to the case, perhaps the buyer did not receive the item at all.  Tracking is important but it may not always be correct.  Did the buyer contact you about it?  Did you attempt to resolve it giving her the tracking information from your source?  If she did and was not happy with the response that may be why she took the next step.  That contact seems to be very important before a case is raised. 

I see the estimated arrival is between 1 and 21 days on your listings.  What information is the buyer given?  Did you change the ship time to longer?  I can only express questions as I don't know anything else about the case except what you have mentioned.
