SHIPPING BY MIDNIGHT SHOULD BE CUTOFF FOR ON TIME

I tried to ship at 11pm PST and my order was considered LATE. That is not fair. It was not late in my timezone.

Etsy you need to fix this.

EXACTLY!  I entered the tracking # at 9:50pm PDT, but the status is showing 1 day overdue? Now I’ll be losing Star Seller status. How is this a fair system???

Etsy support said cutoff is in UCT but it doesn’t say that anywhere in the policy!

If there is a specific time cutoff it should calculate that base on where the seller is registered from on Etsy and include it in the “ship by” info

Mark it shipped early in the morning, and you will be safe.

All that Etsy requests is, that you ship it that day.

I have been following the Etsy cut-off times for years. I can confirm that the cut-off time for shipping is midnight North American Eastern time, currently called EDT (Eastern Daylight Time).
