A customer is returning a necklace for a refund, she has already given me a one star review, will that be cancelled automatically when I give the refund or will I have to try to get her to do it?
No, it will not automatically cancel.
You could ask her to change the review -- but she is under no obligation to do so

Do not refund until you get the necklace back. The review will remain the same until your buyer changes it. Maybe they will when they get their money back.
Make sure you don’t respond, once you have responded the customer can not change her review. If she changes it, or you know she won’t change it, then you can respond and say something like the item was returned and refunded in full. Remember you are showing your customers your good customer service, not responding to the review. That customer will probably not even see the review.
