Our return policy is a no returns or exchanges policy for all items in our shop. Every time I post a new listing I set it this way. Every now and then I check and many listings change all by themselves to a 7 day policy instead. There is no rhyme or reason to which ones change-it's totally random. So now it's to the point where I have to check on this every day and change them all back to the policy I want.
To make matters worse, the function in the listing section where you are supposed to be able to select all of them at once and choose to edit the policy in the drop down menu isn't working, or well, it is no longer there in the drop down menu. It was there a few weeks ago, I used it. But now it's gone. So I have to change them all one at a time.
Anyone else have this problem? Magically changing return policies?
For me it was when I was publishing from Printify. When publishing it was first set to hidden so that I could edit in Etsy before making it live. Then I would go back and change the Printify setting from hidden to unhidden, only for the benefit of sorting on Printify. That was what made the change. Even when unchecking all the sync boxes, it still changed that one setting in the Etsy listing. So now I just leave them as hidden on Printify. If you are not using Printify, this may not help you.
@TeklasPanache I'm having a similar problem where some of my listings revert back. I think it may have to do with syncing but I don't know how to fix it. Can you share what you did?

Today, April 5, 2024, Just discovered 41 of my items that had a No Return policy, reverted to ether 14 days or 30 days. Some of these changes were on new items listed last month. I had changed my default to No Returns, oh last year or the year before. Strange happenings some times. I really don't want to have to spend time correcting things that should not have changed. Sigh.
