I have over 100 listings that has a bright red Update Required on each one. What is going on? I have checked and edited about five. Each one the shipping info has either disappeared or type of shipping was missing. What a mess. Has anyone else had this happen?

@ColorfulCastAndCrew  - Media Mail is a class of USPS service. It is for books & other related materials only. 

The cost is based on that content in the package so that's why the cost is lower.
Yes, media mail has always taken longer to arrive. 
But I think if you choose USPS Media Mail, this may be what buyers will see at checkout? And not just the generic "Shipping" fee.

@JMOldeVintage - I think I was self-deleting that post at the same time you were answering, lol! Thank you for the information. I wound up plugging in DHL Ground, it appears they have that at 3-8 days. I'll go back and repost what I had originally stated so others will understand what we're talking about, thanks again. Also, I updated the post as I should have mentioned I use fixed priced shipping so the actual carrier I plug in has no bearing on the shipping fee.

I have  a lot of these notices, too.   They are on listed ones that I have recently listed or relisted, and the place where I have selected "Ground Advantage" it is now blank.   How ridiculous.

@BirdieGirlAntiques  - FWIW I still do not have the option to include Ground Advantage in any shipping profiles.

While I do see the change that Etsy has made to First Class - they now mention it as a way to send letter mail - all I can do is go into advanced settings and be sure Parcel Select is included.

Same here... Red banner appears on listing, I edit, and the changes does not go through. Several of my listings have this problem.

I cannot renew anything until this is fixed.

This is all about the shipping update. Go to you dashboard, then settings, the click on shipping settings. All your listings are shown. Go to a listing and click on the pencil to edit. It will direct you to shipping service where you need to choose how you want to ship. Example: USPS priority or ground and so on. This is the fastest way to update and yes you have to do each listing. Hope this helps.
