Refusing a Sale

I need a definite answer on wether or not a customer can leave a review if you choose the “seller declines sale” option. I have encountered a customer who I know it will not be wise to continue forward with a sale. I have not shipped it yet and would like her money sent back to her and don’t want her purchasing from me. I have been unable to get a definitive answer. Once I hit the decline sale button, is she able to leave a review and is she notified that I declined the sale? Thank you.

If you use the "Cancel" option first, it refunds in the same step.  It has been observed, that depending upon the time frame - if it's still before your shipping date - the Buyer will not be able to leave a review.  I've seen this happen as a Buyer myself, when the Seller didn't have the item, and cancelled my order.  I thought to look, and there was no option to leave feedback.

Now, there's a thing where the feedback window only opens for received orders after the longest estimated arrival date.  So who knows, but for sure I suggest you use the one-step cancel option.

If you fully refund and also cancel the buyer can leave a review until the cancellation is finished processing.

The cancel option, used first, refunds in full, and it's immediate.

Jury's out on what circumstances enable that 48 hour review period (see my post, below)

You do not have to sell to her if you do not want to .

Yes , refund and cancel 

If she is not fast enough she will not be able to leave a review

She'll get a notification that her order was cancelled.

Go with your gut, refund and cancel and pat yourself on the back for recognizing you don't have to sell to them!

@TheHoyaPlantry  ONLY use the one step CANCEL option!!!’   It refunds at the same time
