Receiving messages from buyers on phone but they are not on Etsy

What do you mean by "updated"?

What do you mean "by phone"?  Do you mean Etsy notifications?

Check your Spam folder on Etsy.  It is possible you are getting notifications and Etsy is moving the messages to spam.

Not on Etsy website, not in spam. I get buyer messages on my phone but they are not showing on Etsy

Maybe they are finding you from your website?  I personally would be very dubious about phone contacts from buyers.

Please clarify if your past Etsy customer that notified you by phone actually placed an order on Etsy using your shop. Apparently, it seems that you didn't receive an Etsy order from this customer, only a phone call. It your already established customer is calling you based on your personal website then  you may want to ask that person to place an order on your Esty Shop.

No this is a past customer coming though, past buyer. This is a tech issue

I clarified this - it is a message from past customer. Not spam.

It doesn't have to be spam to end up in Etsy's spam folder.  Sometimes it just happens.

Maybe she means it is only appearing in the Etsy App on her phone and not in Etsy on her computer????
