I have several listings in the inactive section of my shop. Today I edited two different listings and selected the publish/reactivate button, which brought me back to the active listings section of my shop. But the listings I edited were nowhere to be found -- they are not in the drafts, sold out, expired, active, or inactive listing sections. They seem to have vanished into thin air.
Has anyone else had this problem? I e-mailed Etsy Support but their turnaround time is up to 2 days and I'm hoping to get this issue resolved before then.
The updating of listings seems to be lagging so I'm hoping it's just a matter of time for them to show up?? That's all I got, otherwise this is VERY SCARY.
It's been 3+ hours, and they are still missing.
Can you find them on your listings page but not in the shop? Have you assigned a shop section to them?
They both had assigned sections. They're not in any of my sections, on the main listing page (all sections), or in my shop.
Here is what I discovered: the listings disappear when I try to reactivate them using the NEW listing editor. The listings reactivate properly when I use the OLD listing editor. Hopefully, Etsy gets this fixed before they remove the old listing editor.
Did they ever re-appear? I just tried to change and activate a listing and it's gone. Will it come back?
@BrokenGhostClothing Unfortunately not. I had to redo my work using the old listing editor.
That fix won't last long, as they are robbing us of a perfectly functional tool and replacing with a flaming garbage bin.
I have listings disappear fairly regularly when I haven't done anything at all with them. Right now I am working or re-entering 200 pieces of leather I am SURE I've added at least 4 times over the last year. I think they dump their database when they are doing some test and lose some part of it when they restore it.
I don't know about this recent problem, but I know for awhile now if I set something to Featured, it takes about an hour to show on the front.
Hae you tried holding down your Shift key while clicking your Refresh button? That sometmes works, but not always.
@AAANativeArts I just tried that and it didn't work. For now, I am using the old listing editor only as a workaround. I really hope they get this fixed before the old listing form goes away!
I'm experiencing this too, I reactivated a deactivated listing and it was nowhere at all. But I found the missing listing by searching for it in shop manager, listings view. It comes up there by title search, even though it is invisible in my shop. If I edit it, however, and press "activate with changes," I get a warning pop up that says "this page is confirming that you want to leave, information changed may not be saved." So i can not activate it with edits and I can not see it in my shop from the public side. Using new listing form (which I hate more every day!)
Yep same here - just reactivated a listing and it's gone - poof! I'd like my 20p back please Etsy!
I relisted quite a few things today that were either sold out or inactive. I found the ones that had a quantity in the quantity box already, worked but the ones that had a blank quantity didn't work until I did them on the old form. Unfortunately, about half of them had nothing in the quantity box. I don't know what we are going to do when the old form goes away. I am renewing things every single day.
