Good morning!
I am just wondering if anyone has had this before.
I have just gone to renew a listing of mine that had expired and when I was checking through it, the video that is attached to it is of a mug that someone must be selling and not my video that I had recorded and uploaded to the original listing.
I’ve never seen this before and just wondered how it might have happened and if anyone has had this happen to them.
Warmest wishes
Anna
I've never had that happen. You can right click on the video and click View page source. There is a lot of info there that may provide a clue.
I don't have videos but there are others who recently posted on the forums that this is happening to them too. This is also not new, I do remember this happening to people in the past. Not sure how it was resolved.
@crochetcream : This forum is full of similar reports, including some recent ones. Check your listing in <Edit> mode to see if your video file has been changed on the backend or if it is a case of the wrong file being displayed to a buyer due to an indexing issue.
Etsy does not seem to rename video files to a completely random name (like they do with images) so there may be a naming conflict if you video files use a 'common' naming convention.
Thank you for your help
