Question about my Pattern Shop

Does the analytics code have to be the same with Etsy and Pattern shop?  Of, should the Pattern shop have its own code?

What is an analytics code?

Go to Settings, then options.  Click on the top where it says: Web Analytics.  This is where you add your Web Property ID.

It's been a while, but I think you use the same one??  Sorry, I could be wrong, but giving this a bump, anyway.

Hmmm.  Who do you think has the answer?  Probably should try to get to Etsy support and ask.  Thanks for your response.

@EEECrafter: The answer depends on what YOU want to do. When you have multiple websites to track, you can use a single account to add multiple sites in Google Analytics, which can be done in two ways. You can either add all your sites under a single Analytics account as different properties or add a unique Analytics account ID to each individual site.
