Hi, I’m new to Etsy and trying to see how I can fix an issue I have, if anyone can help please?
I have two messages from tech support asking to reply with my email because a buyer’s purchase has errored. I replied with my email but nothing happens.
has anyone had this before? And know the fix?
I wouldn't respond. This sounds like some sort of scam. If the buyer's purchase has an error, the sale won't go through. If you actually have a sale you should see the amount of the sale, including the fees in your payment account. Etsy already has your email address and will use it to inform you of sales, etc.
That was a scam. Never give out your email. You should change all your passwords asap before they access your account. Sorry this happened to you.
