Processing profile changes not sticking

I've been reading all of the discussions regarding the processing profile update, but I haven't noticed anyone talk about the exact issue we are having. When I go to our listings manager and select all of the listings from a particular section and bulk edit the processing profile. They all change for about 10 seconds, then when I refresh the processing profile page it steadily declines (applied to 50 listings, applied to 37 listings, applied to 15 listings) and none of the changes end up staying. This is making it look like we take much longer to ship our orders than we actually do, which is unfortunate. Is anyone else noticing this and if so, have you found a way to make the changes stick?

I can only manage to get about 40% of my listings applied to a processing profile.

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

I am having the same issues, I spent all night last night and all day today trying to fix this. My processing profiles are all set up perfectly but the listings have ship dates further out than my actual processing time. Listings with a 1 day processing time are showing a ship date of May 27 when it should be tomorrow, listings with a 4 day processing time are showing a June 2 ship date when it should be May 29 and so on....

And now, a bunch of my listings do not even show estimated delivery dates to my clients, the processing profile is set for 3 days but when you click the listing, where it normally shows the clients estimated delivery dates, it says this instead: Shipping upgrades available in the cart -This will be made just for you! Prep time varies. Contact the shop to find out when it will ship." That really hurts me because everything I sell is time sensitive for events, clients need to see the estimated delivery dates.

I hope this gets fixed soon

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

I'm sorry to hear this, but I'm happy I'm not the only one. Luckily I haven't ran into the issue of "contact the shop to find out when it will ship", but honestly I'm surprised I haven't considering most of our listings don't technically have a processing profile attached to them at this time. I really hope they figure it out soon as well, we keep up with orders and ship next day and find that it helps our sales so this is not good for us in any way!

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

It is hurting me as well, my production times vary from 1-2 days to 3-4 days and right now I am totally caught up so I would love to change them back to 1-2 days as that generates more sales, a lot of people order at the last minute in my industry so fast shipping always helps sales. Sadly, even though my processing profiles only show 1-2 days my listings are showing ship dates the first week of June, with close to 700 of them not even providing an estimated delivery date to my clients at all. I did reach out to Etsy support and she told me it can take up to 7 days when you change the processing time for the listing to reflect the change. I told her I really did not think that could be right, imagine what a disaster that would be! Just keeping my fingers crossed it gets resolved soon, in the meantime my sales have taken a big drop the past 24 hours. So sorry you are also going through it.

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

Right now listings that I have assigned to particular profiles are being scheduled by Etsy's system incorrectly.  One day all orders were coming in two days later that what I programmed, and today they've been coming in five days later!

I also do not understand the initial pop up that read this feature will go live May 27.  If that is the case, is all this just a test run, and our shops are the beta test?

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

That could be it but it's a bummer that we cannot change our processing times. Seems mine are stuck at the exact numbers they were when this went into affect. Any changes I am making are not taking place. And now I have a new issue, when people order an item it is not automatically renewing, I have to go to my "listings" and manually renew it. Ugh.... I need a nap after all this haha!

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

I'm having the same issue - cannot update processing profiles! I change my processing time regularly - depending on what my backlog looks like, and I hate not being able to adjust my processing times. This is a HUGE issue that I wish Etsy would address ASAP!!!

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

Etsy is aware of it. I just spoke with them half an hour ago. There won't be a fix until May 27th.
Not posting the rest of the conversation as they'll probably edit my post, but it wasn't helpful to say the least.

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

Have to wonder if Etsy "disabled" the current processing days system and the new one will not be "enabled" until the 27th, leaving any orders placed during the gap in some sort of default (limbo) state. Shops should keep an eye on their Star Seller csv files to make sure that orders are not being marked as missing processing time.

@HuggableHound  : Not surprised that support does not have helpful information. No doubt that are not getting any more actual information from Etsy than sellers do.

Re: Processing profile changes not sticking

@BagmakerSupply I refuse to notify each buyer that despite Etsy's system telling them I will ship tomorrow, that due to a "system error" I have extend the ship date. This should have been Etsy's responsibility but instead I'm working all weekend.
This calls into question the pressure this puts on Sellers, especially US sellers that had plans to be off for Memorial Day weekend.
