Processing Times are not being recognised.

I have noticed my star seller rating go right down recently and when you look at the breakdown, it is showing that 12 orders are missing processing time. Nothing has changed with my delivery profiles and all orders that have been recognised as missing this information do infact have the processing times present, so i am not sure what to do now- i hope this can be fixed as i work really hard to makesure i meet star seller every month- i feel there is some sort of technical issue.

There is a November 2022 response ("solution") from an Etsy Admin to this issue at https://community.etsy.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Missed-star-seller-due-to-apparently-missing-processi...

Why this is a Star Seller metric when you cannot publish a listing without a processing time is a mystery.

I don't believe that the underlying data has ever been corrected for anyone experiencing this issue. Perhaps one of the Etsy Admins who sometimes reads these posts can provide additional information.

Try this: Go to your listing page, then click all listings and go to editing options. If you use the same shipping info for all listings, you can edit all at one time to the current shipping info and it could reset your times.

OP you mentioned that you looked at the "breakdown" so I'm assuming you're referring to the downloadable info regarding star seller "on time shipping & tracking".

I think that anything sent without tracking or sent without Etsy-RECOGNIZED tracking is marked as processing time missing on that breakdown.
So any chance that it's the tracking that is the issue?  Were the 12 packages sent with a different type of tracking than you normally use or no tracking?   UK sellers have had a problem with tracking being recognized on Etsy so that could be it?

The missing processing time is an etsy backend glitch, as you physically cannot list without a processing time (it won't let you).

It's been an on/off glitch for months.

I'm getting this right now on my phone....first time i ever listed 14 items in draft form and now I cant publish them
