Lost access to my primary account. Login takes me to an old, redundant account

Login says that my password is not recgnised. A password reset link then provides access an old, redundant account, and I can't access my primary account.

How do I close the redundant account and access my Primary one?

I would pause on the idea of closing your older account just in case that has noting to do with why you can't access the primary account. Have you clicked on any message links lately in your shop?  Bumping this up, as I have no idea what could be the problem.

Try logging in with a different browser to the one you have already tried which will have no history attached to it to default to your old account.

Either try another browser or clear your browsing history.

@GProudy That's weird ... since each Etsy account is required to have a unique email address.
