It appears that the paradigm in Shipping Settings has changed. Before today, a Shipping Profile assigned countries, processing times, and services, but, from what I have gathered, that seems to have been split into two, Shipping Profiles and Processing Profiles, in which:
The bulk editor in Listings only filters by Shipping Profiles, not Processing Profiles. The bulk editor does allow Processing Profile reassignment, but it's only letting me alter forty listings at a time. It should allow me to change all selected listings instead. Most importantly, it should also allow filtering by Processin Profile.
This is just an utter farce. We have not been able to change our processing times for a whole week! Etsy please fix this now!
My processing times got fixed briefly last evening but messed up again this morning. I set them to about 6 weeks as I will be out of country. The ship by date is now set to 1st week of June for some listings or " time varies contact the seller" for others. Well this is Etsy for you!!!
have solution go Listing - (on the righy site ) shipping profile menage and all processing time on all listing has been changed
They need to fix this ASAP. I'm going on vacation this weekend and I adjusted my processing times to 2 weeks but yet, it's still showing my old processing times on my listings. Etsy really dropped the ball on this. This is a good example of if it isn't broke, don't fix it. And now they broke it big time for something that didn't even need changed to begin with. And you know Etsy probably isn't going to cover refunds out of their pockets for late orders due to their mistake. They really should.
ive been so angry about this all morning. i am moving states, taking my business with me so i adjusted my processing times for 10 days and ive gotten orders today due out next week even though i adjusted this already. etsy support said "theyll look into it" but I dont know another work around except put on vacation and I dont want to do that since I do have best sellers and etsy picks and dont want to lose their ranking
@DashingDogCompany I think I found a solution while looking in another discussion. I do agree that vacation mode can tank your shop for a while. It can take weeks or months to get your rankings back to normal. The solution is try making a new shipping profile then at your listings screen, you can bulk edit your listings to add them to the new shipping profile. It seems to have worked for me.
Edit: I can confirm that solution works. I just got an order with the adjusted processing time included.
I created a new processing and shipping profile but it didnt work. my original shipping profile still shows 4 business days even though I have the 10 day processing time. So then i created a new shipping profile and made a new processing profile too and set them via the listings page and now my listings dont even have a ship time frame, they say contact the shop owner to get your estimated shipping time.
@DashingDogCompany
Mine doesn't show in the listing either but before it said something like get it within a week or something like that. Now it doesn't say anything at all. But I got an order since making the change and it has my adjusted processing times on it now.
Edit: I tried adding an item to my cart from your shop and at the checkout screen, it said "made for you in just 2 weeks by DashingDogCompany" or something like that. So, it looks like your shipping times are adjusted now.
@Airship3D
Thank you so much for checking.
At least I know its telling them a time frame at checkout. hate when etsy rolls this new stuff out and messes things up that werent broken.
I think this whole mess has slowed sales, too. Every time Etsy makes a change, it seems to stop or slow sales for a few days. Very frustrating.
We are seeing this too! We were actually having a great period of sales right up until the change officially took effect and it’s been dead as can be ever since. So scary and frustrating. I hope sales come back for us all!
