Cannot see a newly listed item in "listings" from dashboard for several minutes

When I list a new item - as soon as you hit 'list' generally you see it right away when viewing listings from your dash board, and yes, it can take a little bit to show up on your front shop page for customers. However, today - everything seems to be lagging excessively - I have to wait several minutes before it will show up in my listings on my dashboard, so that I can link it to the editing platform I use for invitations. Is this a glitch?

Yes this is driving me mad this evening - I thought I must have missed completing listings so did them again, only for them to pop up later.  You are right, there's always been a lag to items actually appearing in the shop, but they are usually quick to appear in listings.
Then - because I'd accidentally made a duplicate listing I deleted one - and it won't go!

I have learned over the years to be patient when posting new listings, but yes it did seem that there was a bit of a glitch when I posted a new listing a week ago...but I just waited it out and all was good...

That's odd - my latest listing is actually visible in my shop before I can see it in my listings on shop manager!

It is definately lagging right now, so much so, i've listed things twice!

Yes, me too - was beginning to doubt myself that I'd listed at all.

Well glad to know I wasn't the only one having lag here...I was copying listings to draft and they would not appear then had doubles...Okay so  it's an Etsy bug.

I renewed a listing yesterday late in the day - and the only proof I could find that it was done was the listing fee in Finances. It was not it the section, nor in my shop, I checked every page. This morning it was there. Glitch I guess.

Usually pops up right away for me. Today my newest listing, a wooden box is coming up unavailable

Just to add to this post in case anyone is noticing listing oddness today - it's not this glitch.  It's a different thing.

It's the "May has 31 days but September has 30 and Etsy has never quite got to grips with this so your new listings will appear out of order" thing.

Same issue, 3 new listings not showing up anywhere even after shutting shop down and refreshing. Irritating to say the least.
