The accounts that I "follow" tab is blank?

I've reached the limit of accounts that I can "follow". I would like to remove a few, but the list is completely blank. I am following over 1000 accounts, none of which are visible.

I need to update my list so that I can follow a few of my recent client's.

Out of curiosity, I looked to see how many people you follow and I've seen other members who follow a lot more than you do.  I don't think the number is the problem.   I also see that your list of people who you follow is blank but the list of people who follow you is still visible.  Checked my own lists and they are the same as yours - blank following pages but visible pages of people who follow me.

Following now doesn't matter now as much as it might have years ago tho.  They did away with updates to let us know what new items/shops the followers were favoriting a while ago, so maybe they're now planning on doing away with the whole thing?

This is the error I'm getting:

"Whoa, you can't follow more people! You've reached the current limit. You can unfollow folks to make room for more."

@TheVintagePineapple The updates are shown if you click on the heart where your favorites are. It shows new items, shop sales, and back in stock.

@PrairieCrocusStudio You're right, but the OP is talking about followers and people she follows.  It's not about shops/items she favorited.  This page:  People who follow Laurie

When Etsy redid the home page, they did away with the section that told you that this follower fav'd this item and that follower fav'd this shop.

There is no advantage to following. It’s not like social media.

Right... but if I follow a potential buyer, I would assume they might be prompted to click on my shop.
