Is anyone having problems with the Etsy seller App sound notifications? Any notification I receive has the Cha-Ching sound. It could be a bug, I haven't made any changes to my Android smartphone.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
That is normal for me iPhone. Both Etsy seller app and eBay app also uses the same cha-ching sound. Can get confusing to me which platform I made a sale on.
When I get a fav item its a different sound.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
In my case it makes no difference, receiving messages, fav item, reviews, they all have the sound of the Cha-Ching even though the settings sound are different.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I noticed the other day that Etsy Seller Sounds on Android had changed from what I chose to the default sound. My chosen sounds were still "selected" but Android (I am presuming) ignored them. I reset each one again, and the correct sound for each setting has worked since.

My sounds are still selected but I still only get the Cha-Ching for any notifications. Very strange.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
@AdeleDaniele Check the notification sound for "Etsy" It appears this may be a new addition to Etsy Seller app notifications, it may be defaulting to the "cha-ching".

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I had a "review posted" notification last night and it was not the "cha ching" but the default Etsy notification sound (whatever that is - I didn't change it).
I love those Cha-chings!

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I love the Cha-Ching sound too, but this way it's a continuous Cha-Ching for a message too.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
Hmm. I did notice an update to the app (yesterday?) and maybe that affected something. I think my "review posted notification" was after that, and it was definitely a sound I recognized as being Etsy, but it was not the cash register sound. Did you get an update to the app?

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the App, I reset the sounds, I'm waiting for a check.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I would delete the app and re-install.
and make sure your android is updated as well.. and cache clearing doesn't hurt.
personally I don't care when people fave my items. I just want msg & sales notifications.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
The update on my Android seems to have put all my notifications into silent mode, I turned em back on.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I don't have that happening but whenever I have recently replied to a message I am getting the notification sound on my phone like it is a new message from someone else when it's me LOL.

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
I'm having the same problem after the last app update. It changed all my notification tones. I've even gone into the app and tried resetting everything and it's still not fixed. I hate when it shows messages as a pop up or an icon badge! I only want actual sales to appear as an icon badge! Etsy get this issue fixed...it shouldn't really be that hard!

Re: Problems with notification sounds.
This issue is still ongoing! I have all of my notifications customised to make a different sound for messages, sales and favourites, but the app just defaults to the phone's default notification sound. It was only doing it for the messages. I re-installed the app, and now nothing works! Anyone else with this issue still?
