Problem with Etsy's app?

Ok, I asked this the other day and it seems to be getting worse, and of course I'm getting no help from Etsy. When I look at my shop as a customer through the Etsy app, I only see one listing. When you click on anything in the Browse by Section (other than the 4 featured items) it says No items Found. Now when I go to the app and type in my shop name, I don't see it at all! None of the listings that show up are mine. This is only on the app...everything works fine on my desktop. I have removed and reinstalled the app multiple times and nothing changes. Please, if anyone has a minute, could you please try to find my shop ON YOUR PHONE! Thank you

If you mean the orange buyer app, I searched for you and your shop came up before I could finish typing the full shop name. Initially, your shop showed"browse by section" and shop sections below. Then a "search all 88 items" box, with one listing below that, but if I click on the up and down arrow beside the search box, and select "custom" or "most recent", all of your items are shown.

Also, when I click any of the "browse by section" featured items, I am shown all selected items, not just one.

Thank you so much for looking! Well that’s great to know…just don’t know why it’s not visible to me?! Has that changed on the app recently…that you have to click on the side of that box to show everything? I sure don’t remember ever having to do that.

I do not know if that is a change or not, as I rarely use the app.

GalleryAntiques, I have checked my shop thru the buyer app, and now all my listings do appear. However, when I click on the Sections, everyone of them says No Items Found. Yes, if you go to those little bars on the side and click on recent, they will show up, but do customers really know to do that? I didn't even know about it until I tried to figure this out! I had another seller message me yesterday because she was having this same problem. She checked my shop for me and said the same thing...the Sections showed No Items.

I'm having the same problem. I only found out because a good client contacted me and told me that within the app it indicates I have 34 listings but she sees only 1. You can search and find the listings but they are not there when she's in the app. I contacted Etsy through chat 2 days ago and they emailed me back that everything was fine on their end... so they say. I emailed back that it was not and have not heard back again. I have a case number and have taken screen shots again so I'll send another chat this morning, I'm getting a little frustrated especially because some clients only use the app.

Etsy will not do anything, as it is not a glitch, but how they have coded the app to show a shop's landing page. If you follow the steps I took in my post above, all listings and featured category listings show.

Some people had suggested their sales went down related to the new app but they did not know why.  The bad coding probably is it.  How hard is it to just show the customer stuff to buy and not make them dig for it?

This is happening to my shop as well! It's only happening on the mobile app. The sections won't show anything and if the setting is not on 'Custom' no listings show! What can we do to get this fixed? Customers will not know to click on the 'Custom' setting, I didn't know about that until just today and I've been on Etsy since 2014.

I have checked several shops (in this thread) just now, as I noticed the app updated again yesterday and all shops showed more than a single item. All listings, and featured category listings (across the top) were visible. It appears it was a coding glitch, which was rectified with the latest app update.

What version is you app?  It looks like the last version came out on 9/24/24, so I'm curious if that's the one yours updated to yesterday.

@GalleryAntiques Sorry, I’m gonna bug you one more time…did you click on any of the Sections. I can see all the listings, and featured items, but it’s the Sections that are all empty.

My shop is a PLANT SHOP and mobile only shows my non plant items! How odd! Even if I search for a specific plant listing of mine on Etsy and click on my shop after that it still won't show any plants, although that's what was initially searched for. How's that for relevance?:/

When it comes to "relevance", it will be different for each person that views your shop, So what you see, is not always what someone else will see.

So if this is a coding issue, but only some of us are seeing it, let's do some of our own investigation.

I seem to see everyone's items. 

I am on an android phone.
The version of the app on my phone is 6.93.0.  It looks like that version was released on 9/2424.
I also have the seller app installed.  (Not sure that matters, but you never know.)

I am on Android also. Same as you, version 6.93.0.

But I originally saw what the OP saw, a single listing only when viewing a shop, now I see all listings, as there was a very small app update a couple of days ago. When I view my latest updates, the Etsy app is there, but Etsy does not list this update, I remember it clearly in my app updates, as I like to do my updates manually.

Ok, and another question...if I'm on the buyer app, and type in my shop's name (sunrisemosaicsbybeth) shouldn't JUST my shop pop up? When I do that, I see a couple of my things mixed in with TONS of other mosaics!
