Please help with advice.

hello friends, I need help, I received notifications that my store should switch to the etsy paymant system (my location is India), I, like an obedient person, did so, the next day they closed my store, I wrote to support and they answered me ( after almost 4 months)
Hi there,

We’ve suspended your account due to PayPal being unavailable in your region at the moment. This means that buyers won’t be able to view or purchase your items. You won’t incur new fees, and you’ll still have access to your Shop Manager. We don’t know when business restrictions will be lifted. However, we’re monitoring the situation closely, and we’ll be in touch with any updates as soon as we can.

my store accepted payments via paypal india

when I opened the store, my location was in India, but my documents were provided, my passport (Russian citizen), paypal no longer works in Russia, but it was not connected to my store, and logically, Etsy offers to switch topics stores where Etsy paymanet became available, that is, my store appeared as in India and not as in Russia (Russian stores are not offered to switch to a new payment system because it is not there).

that is, the bot blocked the store incorrectly, but the support service did not respond to my letter (the same as I write here), and it's clear why, logic says that my store is located in India and only for this reason I was offered to switch to a new system, and Instead of apologizing and admitting that they made a mistake and restoring the store, support ignores this. I understand that the situation in the world (in Russia) is not very good, but why should personal ambitions be transferred to those who have nothing to do with it at all.

what would you do? what are the recommendations?

Re: Please help with advice.

Your shop doesn't appear to be suspended.  I can view your listings and add them to my cart, but the payment option is still only Paypal.

Re: Please help with advice.

I'm talking about my other store, I did everything as told, moreover, my store had an Indian GST number, that is, my company paid taxes in India.

Re: Please help with advice.

Maybe the other shop should have been mentioned in your OP to avoid confusion.  You have time to edit your post to include the shop name and/or a link to it.

when I opened the store, my location was in India, but my documents were provided, my passport (Russian citizen),

for etsy payments, everything has to match, if it's and Indian shop, it has to be Indian ID

paypal is different, as etsy does not handle the money

Re: Please help with advice.

you said you provided a russian passport,

if you are providing a passport, it has to ne an indian one, if you have an indian shop

or use a different document, like an indian drivers licence

Re: Please help with advice.

paypal was doing the risk cheking then,

now etsy is doing risk checking, and there are more strict rules for platforms, including tax requirements for countries where the shop is registered.

If your shop is registered in India, you need ALL Indian documents

you asked for help and advice, I have given it. If you think it works differently, then do it your way

Re: Please help with advice.

thank you, I don’t think in my own way, I’m explaining to you that all the documents were submitted in India, I understand what you’re talking about, but I don’t see a solution here, because that’s exactly what I did, submitted all the documents so that they met all Etsy’s requests.

Re: Please help with advice.

If you submitted everything properly, it would be working

Your photo ID, whether it s a passport, or drivers licence, needs to be Indian.
