Photos loading sideways in messages

Since last night, photo images have been loading sideways in Etsy messaging.

This includes images that are portrait style.

I too have noticed when I message someone with a picture IT loads sideways and when I receive photos they come in the same way..it seems this is an etsy issue after they did some upgrades because shop photos in the bottom of a sellers shops are not loading properly either.

Having the same problem. Has anyone talked to ETSY support? I've tried several saves of the photos in different orientations on my computer and it still turns them sideways. Arrrgh!

Any photos we try to load in messages to customers have been loading sideways for several days.  Don't know why.
