Business Tax Info Issue

So I am trying to update my tax payer info because I registered my business with the state. I type everything in correctly, but when I click send to Etsy I get the "We cannot verify your business information" but what is weird is I type in my "Name of Legal Entity" in as my business name, but after it saves, it changes it to my legal first and last name. I feel like that's why it won't verify. Is this a glitch? I had to submit paper work and they put my shop on vacation mode. I'm annoyed.

have you changed the name on the bank account too, in the finance section, as they have to match exactly with the name of legal entity

@HookedandHemmed  You can try requesting a call back from Etsy through your dashboard.

Do you have an EIN?  Did you get an EIN for your business through the IRS?  If you pay taxes as an individual, the IRS sees you as a sole proprietor regardless of the LLC.  If your account information is under your name and not the company name that causes some dissonnance so a human has to review the information.

Yeah I have everything set up correctly, the issue has been resolved. I sent Etsy the paperwork with my business name and they fixed it. Not sure why the system wasn't verifying it.

How did you get in touch with someone at Etsy to resolve the issue?

@JDTotesnDolls Thanks. I know about the contact page, I was asking Hookedandhemmed how she was able to get in touch with them so quickly as I have been waiting over a week now with no contact. Thought maybe she had some advice.
