Photos are all distorted

I see other sellers are missing photos. Mine are there but all very distorted and weird looking. Anyone else with that problem?

It’s probably because they’re messing around with the “add a video” thing. They’re inserting an image into the video slot on a lot of shops. Here’s the link to the thread:

I hope it’s just a glitch and it gets fixed. I sure would hate to have to edit all photos.

OK, I was able to call Etsy.  The person I talked to (hard to understand him...) said it was an Etsy issue, but it should be fixed now.  IT IS NOT!  He sent me an email on things I can do to my browser...  Like I said before, I sell Altered CDs,  If someone goes to my page and sees all of these ovals, it's going to reflect badly on me and my shop.  I did have etsy ads turned on.  I immediately turned that off!  I'm really upset!

Eine Kundin ging jetzt so weit das sie Bestellungen bei mir nicht mehr über Etsy durchführen möchte. Gott sei Dank habe ich noch eine andere Seite so habe ich die gute Kundin nicht verloren. Aber es ist einfach peinlich Kunden erklären zu müssen das ich persönlich mit den ganzen Änderungen hier gar nichts zu tun habe und die selbst auch niemals machen würde.

Ich freue mich so auf Ende Juli wenn diese extreme Testphasen hier hoffentlich erstmal wieder vorbei sein werden.

My photos are all distorted, had an email saying the problem was fixed... No it's not... it's like amateur hour on this site all the time now, for goodness sake stop them playing around with our shops!

(For anyone who hasn't seen this Admin post). Admin MurphysGarden posted (pinned on Pg. 1), they are looking into this. Hope it will be fixed soon.

Some of my images are distorted and others look fine. It's weird because they are all square images. Some look stretched vertically.

There was a notification that the image photo issue had been resolved. As of 1:10p (6/5) it is still on-going. The images are very distorted and hard to look at. Wondering how this will affect today's sales???

I talked to support and they said (from what I could understand) that they are going to escalate it so they know it's still an issue.  It would be nice if they had people in support that could speak English instead of me having to ask them to repeat what they said 3 or 4 times.  So frustrating.  Whatever happened to keeping things in USA?

the photos are wider now but not scaling correctly. so no longer squished but still busted

Mine are back to normal. I never received an explanation or apology from Etsy. I think we are all owed that considering we pay to be here. Unbelievable! Not a good example on how to run your shop.

So just checking out some of your shops and all of your pics look just fine to me? Unfortunately MY thumbnails are still stretched and distorted. Sooo weird that some shops appear to be fixed, but not all of them?!
