I have been able to add your item to my basket and it shows a payment method -- so I would be able to buy it if I wished.

If you are receiving messages from "buyers" saying they need your email to complete payment -- this is a SCAM
Buyers do not need to enter your email at checkout

If you are receiving messages from potential buyers claiming that they need your email address to complete the purchase, then they are attempting to scam you.

More details are needed here. How far are they getting through the ordering process? What happens next? Are they getting an error message? What does it say? Are you sure it's not a scam?

99.9% this is a SCAM. Do not provide your email or click on any links. They will even provide a fake Etsy message/site asking for CC and bank info. SCAM.

Unfortunately new shops are a massive target for scammers, they all creep out of the woodwork when a new shop appears.
