Paypal not available as payment option (even though enrolled in Etsy payments)

Hi, I opened an Etsy shop and I encountered the problem that PayPal doesn't show up as a payment option in my shop even though it's enrolled with Etsy payments.

Does anyone have the same problem and how did you solve it? How can I get paypal added as payment method?

You will have to contact Etsy Support.

@JournalPagesCo: You are hiding you location and don't have an About section so it is hard to provide more detailed information but based on other recent posts in this forum many new shops are apparently experiencing the same thing - particularly in some European countries such as Germany.

As suggested, you need to contact Etsy support.

By the way, having an incomplete shop (no location, about, policies) will hurt you in search and if a case is opened against your shop.

Thanks for the feedback. I don't know where to add an "About section" or location but I don't think those are the reasons why paypal is not displayed.

I have this problem for over a month now and have been in contact with Etsy for weeks now. They have been really awful with it. From ignoring my messages or deleting them to giving me false information. If anyone figures something out please tell me what you did. Btw also from germany.

Hi there! I’m facing the exact same issue and, unfortunately, support has not been much help. I opened my shop in France this past September. I hope we can find a solution.
